How I work

As a Nature-Based Coach and Therapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals like you reconnect with themselves and the natural world. Together, we will step away from the noise and into the healing power of nature, to find clarity, balance and renewal.

 

Nature-based coaching and therapy offers a unique approach to healing and growth. By immersing ourselves in the natural world, we create space for greater perspective. As nature has a way of putting our struggles into context. Helping us see our lives with fresh eyes.

 

Away from distractions, you will gain insight into what truly matters to you and what steps to take next. We will develop practices that nurture your mind, body and spirit, so you can thrive long after our sessions end.

After an initial discovery session and if the client agrees to take on the responsibility for change, then I will teach them the skills and give them the tools to lead a calmer, more fulfilling and balanced life.  Together we will explore different avenues within their lives around health, money, work, family, friends and lifestyle.

 

Working with a holistic approach to prioritise areas for improvement and development. Sometimes these are easy, sometimes they can be very challenging, but unless you take up the challenge to evolve, in order to develop your mind, body and soul. Then you will remain where you are.

 

I offer sessions in natural spaces in and around Cambridgeshire, Essex and Suffolk and online sessions for people elsewhere on the planet. Everyone is very welcome in my practice.

What is Nature-Based Coaching & Therapy

Nature-based coaching and therapy is where the natural world is integrated into personal development, mental health and well-being. Using the restorative and transformative power of nature to support emotional, pyschological, and even physical healing.

What is the Difference between Coaching & Therapy?

Coaching & therapy go hand in hand. Therapy is very much the diagnostic part, asking those search questions to discover what the deep-down issues truly are. Coaching is the teaching of new skills and tools in order to live more positive lifestyle.

Will Hypnotherapy Work for Me?

Hypnotherapy is used to direct a person’s mind in a way that helps make changes in feelings, thoughts, and behaviours.
  Often people have seen stage hypnotist and worry they may end up clucking like a chicken!  This is far from the case; it is more like a deep state of relaxation. Most people respond well to hypnotherapy and dependent on the issue it normally takes just one or two sessions.

What about the Weather?

If the weather becomes to wet, too cold or inhospitable to be outside, then we have a number of options. We can brave it with waterproofs and umbrellas. We can find a sheltered spot in a natural space or if needs be, I still have access to practice rooms. I always keep an eye on the weather, so if we have to make alternative arrangements, based on the clients needs, then we do so.

What is the difference between Meditation & Mindfulness?

Meditation & mindfulness are very closely linked. Both are highly recommended for your mental well-being. Meditation is the actual practice of being still and training the mind. Mindfulness is how we bring our distracted minds back during mediation or as we go about our daily lives.

Can I do Sessions Online?

Whilst it is always preferable to do sessions face to face, in some circumstances it is more practical to do online.

These sessions can be done over numerous platforms. Hypnotherapy however cannot be done remotely, but therapy and coaching can.

After I lost my Dad, my whole world fell apart. I struggled at work as well as in my social life and at home. I kept losing my temper and upsetting both friends and family. Ade helped me put things in perspective, made me realise I wasn’t dealing with my father’s death, just keeping busy instead. He made me slow down, taught me some new skills and re-enforced them with some hypnosis. Life is now far better. I still go back regularly so see Ade for some gentle healing and keeping me in balance.
